Tom Hardy promises Woody Harrelson’s massacre is ‘Deliciously Wicked’

Tom Hardy describes Woody Harrelson’s portrayal of Carnage in Venom: Let There Be Carnage as “deliciously evil” prior to the sequel’s release.

Tom Hardy had only good things to say about his Venom: Let There Be Carnage co-star Woody Harrelson in a new interview prior to the film’s release.

“I think Woody delivers at a level that is … well, you know he’s deliciously evil,” Hardy told ET Canada. “An ingenious actor, perfect.”

Let there be carnage director Andy Serkis doubled what Hardy had to say, adding: “…[Harrelson is] such an amazing joy, right? He is also a brilliant team player. He’s amazing. He’s amazing. “

Created by author David Michelinie and artist Erik Larsen, the Cletus Kasady / Carnage character debuted in the 1991s The amazing Spider-Man # 344 and has been presented as an opponent by both Spider-Man and Venom.

It was announced in August 2019 that Harrelson joined the successor to the 2018s Married as the villainous symbiote. Fans may remember that the actor actually got his first appearance as the character in the middle credit scene in the first film when Hardy’s Eddie Brock visited the serial killer in jail for an interview.

The first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage was released in early August and centered on Harrelson’s character. After opening with a shot by Harrelson as Cletus Kasady turned into Carnage, the clip suggested that several other superpower individuals – one of whom appeared to be Shriek – would also appear in the film. As some fans have pointed out, Carnage formed a relationship with Shriek in Maximum carnage crossover event.

Directed by Andy Serkis, Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson. The film will hit theaters on October 1st.
