Former Boeing pilot is expected to be charged with 737 MAX probe

Federal lawyers plan to criminally accuse a former Boeing Co. pilot, whom they suspect of misleading aviation regulators on safety issues that are to blame for two fatal accidents on the 737 MAX, according to people familiar with the matter.

Mark Forkner, who was Boeing’s 737 MAX chief pilot during the aircraft’s development, is likely to be charged in the coming weeks, these people said.
