After spending years in development hell and even more delays thanks to the pandemic, Sony’s live-action adaptation of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted video game franchise is almost upon us. With Tom Holland as the famous treasure hunter Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Victor “Sully” Sullivan, a friend, mentor and father figure to Drake. Uncharted has been a long time coming. Sony Pictures has released a new one Uncharted clips that find Nathan Drake hanging for dear lives.

The scene i Uncharted the clip has been heavily promoted in the trailers for the film and is easily recognizable to fans as it pays homage to a similar scene from Uncharted 3. While it’s easy to reject movies based on video games, I cross my fingers for it Uncharted holds the landing firm, if only the last decade of development has not been wasted. Throughout that period, we have seen a revolving door of directors attached to the project, including David O. Russell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon, Shawn Levy, Dan Trachtenberg, Travis Knight, and finally Ruben Fleischer. What do you think about Uncharted clip? Will the film prove to be worth the wait, or will we add it to the big pile of child video game movies?
