BOSTON (CBS) – Stephon Gilmore is a two-time All-Pro who made a lot of money and played a lot of good football for the New England Patriots. JC Jackson was the Second Team All-Pro for the first time last year, and he now has to make a lot of money – either in New England or elsewhere.
The two have been on similar paths in recent years, but they were opponents on Sunday for the Pro Bowl, where Gilmore represented the NFC in his half-season spent with the Panthers, and Jackson represented the AFC.
The two took a moment to take a picture together after the match, which the AFC won.

Jackson had an interception in the game and picked up Russell Wilson in the end zone. (However, it was not Wilson’s most devastating than zone choice that was thrown to an exhausted Patriots cornerback.) He also had three “tackles” in a game that contained no real tackling.
Such a show could be expected of Jackson, who has intercepted 22 passes over the last three seasons for the Patriots, who led the league with 23 passing defenses last year.
After playing last year for a salary of $ 3.384 million, Jackson is now set to hit unlimited free agency – provided the Patriots do not place the franchise mark on him.
He may be looking to follow Gilmore’s free agency back in 2017, when Gilmore signed a $ 65 million five-year deal with the Patriots on the first day of free agency. He did not end up playing the final year of that deal, but both he and the Patriots got tremendous value out of that deal.
What then happens to Jackson is still unknown. But he has no doubt encouraged his former teammate to get some advice up to this great career path.
