A popular restaurant known for its fresh pasta adds a fourth location in Vancouver to its list.
Robba da Matti, who once started as Yaletown L’Antipasto, revealed this week that they are renovating what will be their fourth restaurant.
With their original Yaletown address, their second outpost in the West End and a third location in Gastown, Robba da Matti will also have a home in Kitsilano, after taking over the vacant space at 1898 West 1st Avenue, the restaurant with Vancouver Is Fantastic confirmed via e-mail.
Renovations have just begun to turn around the Kits restaurant, formerly home to Cacao – the Latin enterprise that suddenly closed down in the summer of 2019 – and the owners say they hope to have the doors open in December.
The menu at Robba da Matti focuses on traditional Italian dishes, including handmade pasta, risotto and, as the original name suggests, antipasto along with great main courses and plenty of wine. The West End location on Haro Street also serves weekend brunch.
