Welcome to Brunswick launches a drive-thru with roller skaters on Friday and Saturday nights.
Brunswick’s new retro destination is called ‘Welcome to Drive-Thru’.
The new project in Brunswick’s Frith Street borrows heavily from nostalgia from the 1950s and serves traditional food to food from Mr Burger, Belles Hot Chicken, Penny’s and Brunswick Mess Hall.

It will be served to punters in their cars from Thursday to Sunday, but if you want the news of being served by roller skating materials, go Friday or Saturday night.
In addition to the food, they also serve alcohol and promise a drive-thru disco with roller skates with a vegan evening on Thursday.
Welcome to Brunswick’s outdoor garden bar, launched by 100 Burgers Group (same people from Welcome to Thornbury), has been forced to look for new ways to reach customers as Melbourne has crashed into its sixth lockdown.
However, the group has been active throughout the pandemic, recently announcing that they will take over Brunswick’s much-loved live music venue The Penny Black and rename it Penny’s.
The food, delivered at Welcome to Drive-Thru, is an amalgamation of all the new Welcome to Brunswick venues combined to create one of the more alluring Brunswick hangouts when Melbourne finally returns to freedom.
